I wouldn't go so far as to say that simply putting a bumper sticker on an automobile is considered "defacing" it. Spray-painting something on it, absolutely. But I say that you, and everyone else that threw him under the bus has your panties too far inyour cracks. I've never seen so many"manly", "brute", "meat-eaters" get sobent out of shape over a simple bumper sticker! Absolutely incredible! You guys members of the ACLU or PETA? This is something they would harp on. I would've never expected such ridicule to come from fellow hunters.

A few guys here got it correct in saying something to the effect of, "I wouldn't have done it, but I think it's pretty damn funny". Mind blowing. [&o]

Apparently you still don't get it. It is not about a "simple bumper sticker" it is about disrespecting others' privateproperty and quite possibly harassment. But the fact that you don't consider putting a bumper sticker on someone else's vehicle, someone else's private propertydefacing it helps me understand why you don't get it.

Would it be OK for peta activists to put antihunting bumper stickers on your car while you were in the woods hunting? You're good with that? According to you they aren't defacing it or hurting anything.

Do you expect the respect for private property from hunters? If not, then I can understand why you didn't expect someone to be ridiculed for the lack of respect for someone else's private property. You probably don't understand why some get upset about trespassers lack of respect for private property ;).

Let us say "don't" put stuff on people's cars and homes, ect, ect., but do not come here telling me I have to respect their (PETA) rights, or anyone else who tries to take away what is right from me. That is not my opinion either. God gave me my right to hunt. Who gave them the right to override God??

Who is to say this woman is an active PETA member truly fighting to take our rights to hunt? Maybe she just doesnt believe in hunting and put stickers about it on her car. People mention PETA defacing property, but did this particular woman do it? Go put the stickers on PETAs building or officers vehicle if you feel the need to put bumber stickers on someones car, not just some woman who is stupid enough to not believe in hunting.

All that said, it is just a sticker. She will take it off, further her hate for hunters, and life will go on. Maybe now she will be spurred into being an active member seeking to take our rights...who knows.

I know I've played far worse pranks than that, so I'll keep my mouth shut on that one.[X(]

I can understand why it fires you up. I might not answer this in the same way PT would, but I'm pretty sure Iknow what he meant. I respect therightsof everyone. I don't, however, respect the beliefs or actions of everyone. Do I respect the rights of a Satanist or an Atheist? Absolutely, and I'd put my money on the fact that so does PreacherTony. Again, I emphasize it's their right to do as they choose thatwe're talking aboutrespecting. Do I agree with them? Not a chance. No way. Never.

You said that God gave us the right to hunt? Okay, I'll go along with that. I agree that PETA doesn't have the right to take our hunting privileges away, but they, as Americans, are guaranteed the right to say what they feel and think, and they also have the right to pursue all legal means to achieve their goals. I don't agree with their anti-hunting goals at all, and I despiseso many of their illegal methods they employ in their attempt to achieve those goals.

We all have different beliefs, views, opinions, convictions and backgrounds. Until we can finally get to the point that we accept these differences, agree to disagreeand treat each other with respect and dignity regardless of their convictions, this world will continue to deteriorate. Personally, I don't see that ever happening, but I wish it would. What a great world this would be if it did.

I never said that putting a bumper sticker on a car wasn't childish. I wasn't going to throw him under the bus for doing it though. According to some he should be drawn and quartered.
