Welcome back Sarah!! Its good to see you around again, I wish you both the best. As for turkeys I didn't get a license this year, next year will be my 1st try at it. I'm excited to give it a run!! Good luck hunting this year if you make it out in the woods!

So far, my season is going great! Lots of birds down, and all on video.

Sorry to hear about your situation, and I sure hope it all works out for you in the end.

They say that everything happens for a reason..........good luck!:)

I got a 31 yard shot at a big strutting tom on April 15th - arrow hit a little low of center chestand he wound up with about 16" of arrow sticking out his backside. After some thrashing around, he managed to break off the Easton Axis FMJ about even with his body and made off into the tamarisk jungle. Didn't bleed a drop - presumably because the nock end of the arrow was still stuck in his body, plugging the hole.

Kind of a disappointment - but got the whole thing on video for posterity. And a broken/bent Axis FMJ to hang on the trophy wall. [8D]

It's been tough for me in Oklahoma. Lot's of birds but the hens are late leaving them this year. Many encounters but they just wont work a call for me. Never had a season like this before.
