RE: Celebrity Hunters...Who would you go with
Jim Shockey and his dad, or Will Premos.
Lee and Tif would be cool to |
RE: Celebrity Hunters...Who would you go with
ORIGINAL: bowtechben Gotta go with Lee Lakosky. I could learn so much aboutgrowing big bucks from him. Food plot strategies and a whole lot more. He seems like he shares my passion for BIG WHITETAILS. Agree x2 i would love to have michael or travis come to our farm..........im not a big fan of jay gregory but, his production place is 10 minutes away from our farm! MichiganWhitetails is right though.........theres probably many michael waddell's and jim shockey's in the US that were not lucky enough to be able to pursue the passion of pro hunter like the originals were |
RE: Celebrity Hunters...Who would you go with
Iforgot about Cuz...He seems like a good ol boy, he would be my first choice for turkey hunting I think.
|
RE: Celebrity Hunters...Who would you go with
I would say prolly Michael Wadell, he seems like he is down to earth and really knows what he is talking about.
|
RE: Celebrity Hunters...Who would you go with
I gotta go with Chuck Adams, the man's a living legend, a wealth of knowledge, yet humble as can be. Uncle Ted's a close second, just because the man's a riot! I'm kinda surprised Tred Barta isn't among the names for the traditional guys:eek:, though he does appear to be a bit overwhelmingsometimes :D
|
RE: Celebrity Hunters...Who would you go with
Cameron Haines, first of all he's a yankee, scores HUGE points with that alone.....on top of that he only bow hunts, won't touch/consider a gun from what I know, and he seems to enjoy this stuff and really knows what he's doing. Chuck may be the original, but Cameron is killing monsters year after year, public land DIY, sure he has some help, but in todays times, IMO that's huge, hunting of yesteryear is gone.
PS- really surprised Tiffany wasn't listed.....though I'd still pass, I want to hunt when I hunt, not listen to the wife/girlf. ie get away from the wife/girlf, haha. |
RE: Celebrity Hunters...Who would you go with
Greg Miller....He has hunted big woods all his life. Look up some of his books. I believe a man could spend one season with him and get about 5 % of what he knows about whitetail life, eviorment, habits...whitetails in general. |
RE: Celebrity Hunters...Who would you go with
I picked michael waddel, just because he would be a genuine good time, so many to choose from though that would all be more than an honor to share time in the woods with!:)

This photo is of Roy Case with his deer kill of December 6th, 1930 in
Vilas County, Wi. This photo depicts the first bow-killed deer in the State of Wisconsin as a sport. Roy coined the phrase “bowhunter.” Thanks to his efforts, along with others, a separate bowhunting season was established in 1934 and Wisconsin became the first state in the country to hold an archery-only deer hunt. All you have us cheeseheads to thank!;) |
RE: Celebrity Hunters...Who would you go with
Well, I did not see Tiffany Lakosky anywhere on this poll. What's up with that? She would make hunting camp interesting. Ha
|
RE: Celebrity Hunters...Who would you go with
When it seriously comes to bowhunting it really would be Tiffany?
|
RE: Celebrity Hunters...Who would you go with
Sweaty Teddy all the way, just so he can grind the guitar too cat scratch fever after the hunt.
Plus he's out of control and a funny SOB |
RE: Celebrity Hunters...Who would you go with
Bowhunting... Dwight Shua, next with Chuck. Gun hunting... Jim Shockey and his dad. What a riot.

RE: Celebrity Hunters...Who would you go with
Peak, I think the hunter that "got caught" in IL in the 90's was Noel Feather. I've never heard anything about the Wensels breaking the law.
|
RE: Celebrity Hunters...Who would you go with
ORIGINAL: MichiganWhitetails74 I would have Breakfast with FRED Bear and hunt the morning with him,Take an evening hunt with the Wensel brothers after a 2 hour session of Primal Dreams....and then I would top the day off by pounding some bruwzkies with Dan Fitzgerald and waking up for a hang over hunt with him.... But what about HOWARD HILL? |
RE: Celebrity Hunters...Who would you go with
The King is upset that he isn't on this list.
|
RE: Celebrity Hunters...Who would you go with
ORIGINAL: RDHunter If I had a choice ... it would either be bloodcreek , Germ , Rob/PA Bowyer ,mobow ,Hunsucker , BullRider115 , buckeye and a few others here, there all celebrity's in there own right. ;) |

RE: Celebrity Hunters...Who would you go with
I am going to list three, my number-1 pick is Jim Shockey.
Jim Shockey: Moose in the Alaskan Yukon. Cameron Hanes: Elk & Mule Deer in the backcountry of Wyoming. Tiffany Lakosky: Anywhere for anything. Just as long as we can hunt from the same ground blind.;)Tif "the dish" is smokin hot. |

RE: Celebrity Hunters...Who would you go with
What about Phil Phillips?
|
RE: Celebrity Hunters...Who would you go with
I'll take someone elses lead and say GregH, Shultzy or Magicman.
But even before them it would be Jenna Jamison in a ground blind ALL DAY LONG! |
RE: Celebrity Hunters...Who would you go with
I did not cast a vote, because I would hunt with everybody on the list.:)
Like most of us, I have ones that I personally like more than others, but I would hunt with everybody listed. |

RE: Celebrity Hunters...Who would you go with
ORIGINAL: peakrut When it seriously comes to bowhunting it really would be Tiffany? The king was not on the list becauseI wanted it to be fair. With the addition to the king, I'd get faulty results, and my research would be crushed. |
RE: Celebrity Hunters...Who would you go with
Fair enough Kyle. Hey man, we're still waiting for pictures of the girl with the arials!

ORIGINAL: Schultzy ORIGINAL: BowHuntingFool ORIGINAL: Schultzy ORIGINAL: buttonbuckmaster Peak, I think the hunter that "got caught" in IL in the 90's was Noel Feather. I've never heard anything about the Wensels breaking the law. As for Noel Feather....I just googled his name and was amazed at some of the stuff I read!![:o] What saddens me is that he was convicted by public opinion.....and the people who convicted him are nowhere close to the facts. Heck, I read 3 statements from different sources that accused him of getting caught with video tapes in his truck of Noel poaching in Yellowstone National Park!!!!! That event really did take place, but it was Don Lewis who did it, and was busted for it. Noel did make a mistake by putting tags from a certain state on two bucks that he LEGALLY killed inhigh fenced ranch where no license was required. He forgot to procure a receipt from the ranch prior to leaving with the deer, and a family member who was fighting with Noel called him to let him know that the US Wildlife agents would be on him soon. That is whe Mr. Feather panicked and did a dumb thing by using unfilled tags from a current license to tag the deer that required no tags in the first place. The event caused Noel to lose credibility in this industry, and that is a shame, because Noel Feather is a genuinely nice guy. |

BHF, I cannot say that I know the Wensels, but I have talked to them in person a few times.
On each occasion, they were both the nicest, funniest guys you would ever hope to meet!:) |
