Looks awesome bud. Really liking that Max4. Hope you're ready for an interesting transition. Going to be pulling back 70lbs from the start, or are you backing it down to 60-65?

I backed it down to 62. It's not all that bad. I had them put the 30" mods in it and it is still short as I need to get a loop in it. My accessories aren't here yet and I want to wait for Rob anyhow. I have a Viper pro micro tune sight in the max 4 and a limbdriver coming. By the time the big guy gets back from Cancun I will be ready for a night of Keystone light and setting her up...for this week I am just drawing to get the muscles in the groove. I really like the back wall though

Sounds good. Back wall is definitely an improvement over what I'm used to. I've gotten caught creeping a bit though, and you can't get away with it all with this bow.

Yeah Matt, know what you mean. I caught myself about rip my shoulder out when I crept letting down. Wasn't expecting it...I like it. The Commander's back wall is solid but I think this is better yet.

That max-4 is some sweet camo... I seen brokenarrow1970's commander dressed in max-4 with matching octane quiver on his new commander. Great looking bow.

I have orderred an 82nd but in Realtree... Starting to wish I went with the Max4 :(

Could you tell me is the drawlength measured to the pivot point or the front of the riser? Seems to vary on different brands??

I held her at the shop and decided to order me one as well, should be here in a few days..

I drew her back and like you was stunned by the way she " went".............

will be some "getting used to" before she'll feel natural to me.......

Holy Crap im impressed Ben. Dont know if Rob told you or not but I will be coming up to hunt Turkeys on May 16th its a Friday! I will actually be coming up late Thursday night hope to check it out then and shoot some! It looks awsome.

Brknarrow, where did you get the octane quiver in the max 4 at? I also want a 11.5 stab too. Thanks, I had a Commander when I was shooting against the dominance, I loved that bow, I will prob have another if I can slip it in the back door of the house when she's not looking. Great Bow, I am looking forward to givin the 101 a chance to show me what she has got.

Tim, I would like that. We will have to get a round of buck going in the afternoon or something. And without a doubt a few beers going at night.


I hope the ups man brings me her accessories today. Just sitting here at work waiting on the the delivery...I get excited everyday about this time. They had to special order the sight as I wanted to match the camo.

I had them order the Quiver at the local shop back in Feb I believe, I also have a Stabilizer on order for the same time frame - it hasn't arrived yet and I ask them to check on it Monday - The commander is a super shooter - I have two an 07 and a 08 -

The 101st is also a shooter - my only issue was my shoulder took a beating - but your is a beauty and hope it works out well for you

I actually liked the looks of it originally - but it also blends in pretty well in the surroundings - I think the broken pattern they use on it is nice sorta like the ASAT camo -

PA Hardwoods, Ya I know, I used to say the same thing about lefties, but if ya can't beat em join em right? I had to work awful hard to convince the little lady that it was necessary to get this baby.

Tim, no darn it they didn't, I need to call and check on them. I hope to have them before Rob gets home.

Matt, Ya I am excited to get the sight and see how I like shooting it, I know I like them from shooting Rob's stuff right handed, so should be good.

Button Buck, I really wanted the treestand camo that was supposed to be available, but it is not. I wanted a lighter color sceme for more of the fall foliage that I hunt in so it was either this or Mossy oak Brush. I had the brush on my Commander, so I thought I would try something different, I love it. It really doesn't give off the wet land look as much as you might think.

1970- I definately will, I need to do her justice when she gets dressed later this week.

Cant wait to shot and have fun! I will hang around till evening when I come up to hunt. Hopefully we will be cleaning a bird!:D
