muzzy zero effect

I've been looking at the muzzy zero effect, if you use or have used this rest what are the things you like or dislike about it?

The only thing I dislike about mine is that it wouldn't work right on my Mighty Might when I got it because it requires a different model due to the limbs and short cable gaurd travel. And I'm too cheap to buy the one I need;). Other than that it's my favorite drop a way rest. It's on my girlfriends Alpine Micro right now.

I loved mine on my Darton Maverick. I would have put one on my Guardian but they just don't work as well on parallel limb bows.

I thought they made models for parallel limb bows!

That's what I had mine on, a darton Yukon. Loved it on that bow, but when I got my bowtech I couldn't get it work and didn't want to pony up the money for a new version.

I shot a Zero Effect for many years on many different bows, the rest worked great. Only issue I have is thatit's made of plastic, and plastic breaks...I know because it ruined a hunt a few years back.[:@]The arm that holds the "hook"arm in place cracked, as I climbed into my stand I drew my bow back as I usually do, and the hook spun around. Lesson learned and I'llnever put anything plastic on my bows again.

RE: muzzy zero effect

My problem was there was not enough travel on the cable slide to get proper timing for the rest. I was not using a model designed for it though. I took one of the oringinal models that I had on my darton and tried to make it work on my bowtech. I got it close, but still had a slight amount of contact.

I have not messed with a newer model. I put a drop zone on my bowtech, and then a Bodoodle.
