Bowcase for Matthews Drenalin / Parrallel Limbs?

So I bought a new bow last year, and still making due with my old case, which was a cheapo, but very rugged/solid, worked great for my old bow, but the new bow, ie the Matthews Drenalin has parrallel limbs which makes it harder to work in the old case.....

What do you guys use/reccomend for a parrallel limbed bow?

I do actually have a SKB heavy duty, I'd like something that I really wouldn't worry about putting on an airline, though its main use will be for just local in/out of the truck, so surviving a flight may not be necessairy, but loading stuff on top of the case in the truck is....

Any suggestions? also if you know a price?

I know matthews makes cases, though no experience with them, or how much they cost, or how solid they are?

Lakewood makes really good cases for parallel limb bows. I am getting one for my new General.

They are around $120

I carry my Drenalin in an SKB Freedom case. Although I've heard a couple of reports on here that said they had cracked in shipment, mine has held up extremely well, and I love the fact that all of the tiedowns for the bow and the arrowholders and accessory holders velcro in, so you can arrange yourarrows/stuff in various ways. It definitely gets a "thumbs up" from me.

IMO you can't do better than the SKB 4114. The Freedom case is a decent case for the money, but not up to SKB's normal standards.

I'm sure you're right, Dan, but since I only transport my bow in my truck to the woods or the shop , the Freedomsuits my needs. If I were going to be checking it on an airline, I'd be getting another case.

The Freedom is an excellent case for the money, as long as someone knows what they are getting. I have a Freedom case myself (along with my 4114),and many times it does the job I need it to do nicely:D

Those sure are some Dandy Bass in your avatar!!

I have a Doskol Pro 44 and it works great, I have a soft Mathews case too made by Blacks Creek Gear Guide, and its OK but it doesn't give protection likea hard case does. If I wanted a rock solid case I wouldgo to a Aluminun, expensive yes, but worth it when traveling the airlines.

Thanks, Dan. Yeah, that was a REALLY good day! It was just a couple of weeks ago.

I'd get this one if I owned a drenalin, my dad does and does, lol. It is a nice case, but not allowed near me. It has the M word on it...that is like contraband;):D
