to expand on my other post (how often do you get a bow)
ok, if you guys get bows all the time, but you love the one you get, why would you switch?

Honestly? Because I can. :)
No, there are a few reasons. First, I'm advertisement for the shop. Guys look to see what I'm shooting, and it does no good to shoot an older model bow we don't sell anymore. Second. Economics. If I trade up every year, it doesn't cost me anything. If I skip a year, I will incur some cost. |

I just enjoy setting up a new Bow and putting it through the paces. I also like to have complete setups ready to go with different game in mind. For example Turkeys, Whitetails in the thicket, or Mule Deer etc., in the wide open spaces.

So everyone out there can see whats new out the bows I shoot are Pro series bows and they are only available at pro shops, so I try to change as often as I can b/c there is like 5-8 pro bows and the more that I show them off the better chance someone seeing that there are more bows out there that what just the chain stores carries and It helps the dealers out.

RE: to expand on my other post (how often do you get a bow)
I've gone through several bows now in a realtively short time span. Partly because I can......but mostly because I wanted to see what I liked. I've only been shooting a bow for <3 yrs.
I see me settling on one soon and staying with it for a while. I do NOT like change for the sake of change. I was always 4-5 yrs behind the technolgy curve when I played golf (one of the last to give up persimmon). Once I find something I like......I'll likely buy a couple of them and hang on to them for a while. |
