Sweet, how many acres and is this the place you got last years buck?. I see a looks like a 2 man stand in the upper field photo. Has to be very satisfying.

Looks great John! About time we got an update [:@][8D]

Do you have any stands placed yet? How many definite sets do you have picked out so far? No stands up yet, but I do have a few shooting lanes cleared for my climber. I mostly use my climber, but I pulled a couple stands from the farm I used to hunt last weekend. I will put a few up here in the right spots.

I have lanes cleared at 3 spots, and plan on having at least 4 or 5 more ready for the climber. There are just so many funnels, I couldn't hunt them all in one season. I need to see what the deer do when the crops are in too. They had a bumper acorn crop out there last year. And the deer and turkey are still rooting up the woods after them.

All those green fields and no sheds? I can't believe itThe bottom field is mostly fescue. Not much deer food for them there. That is why I want to redo it. And the top field has just greened up in the last week or so.

Man, I knew you were gonna put a road up that hill....but you didn't say a damn thing about a 4 lane interstate..... Looks good man, now you can get up there.
I need it that wide, so my cousin can his big implements up the hill. I don't want his disc hanging on any trees.

Plus this way I can make a food plot out of it too. Should be enough sunlight for some clover and chickory to survive in there. And I'm sure it will start closing in as the trees grow towards the sunlight.

85 acres
No that farm is about 4 miles from this place. Just started turkey hunting here. Haven't deer hunted it yet. But I am familiar with the area.
That stand is an old homemade wooden job. About to fall out of the tree in the next storm.
