This has probably been covered a hundred times but I might buy any of these bows. If any of you have shot all of these bows, I'm particularly interested in your thoughts, but I'd love to hear any feedback about these bows. As far as specs are concerned I've compared all of them, but I'm wondering what you like and dislike about each. What makes one bow better or worse than another?

I think the Alley has a smoother draw than the Marquis. If I was to buy one I'd get the Alley. But you should go shoot them all and see what you like best.

Very, very tough call as I own them all. Not the 08 Ally but the 06 and for one all purpose bow, I'd narrow it down to the Marquis and Ally then narrow the field through shooting. I bought the Black Ice for this turkey season and she's shooting wonderfully. She (BI) wouldn't be my first choice for am all around whitetail rig however, Frank (PABowntr) loves the BI.
Me personally, I'd go Ally or Marquis. It'd be personal after that.

I've owned them all... and have an '08 Marquis and '08 Allegiance hanging in my personal shop right now, in addition to a few of our other offerings. I've owned every Ally since '06... and there's a reason this new '08 is hanging here. I owned the Black Ice last year.
The Marquis might have the better draw cycle for some, considering it's a single cam, which usually feels better to most people since it ramps up slower and hits peak later in the draw force curve.
Conceding that though (and that's purely personal -- as Rob alluded to above), I'd give the nod to the Ally if I were forced to choose only one. The platform the Ally is built on (34" a-to-a, 7" brace) is absolutey my favorite, and fits me extremely well. But in addition to that, you get the added "oomph" as well as the interchangeability between "speed" and "smooth" mods.
I killed six deer this year with the Marquis, so I'm absolutey a fan of that bow. Bowtech's top shooter just walked away with a top-10 finish in the Open class of a National ASA tournament, finishing alongside the ranks of Hopkins and Gillingham, and ahead of a lot of them. He was using a Diamond Marquis that day.
