Go on the trip...
Then you have a free pass for 26 days of hunting, get it in writing though.
Maybe include a foot and back massage!

Go on the vacation, enjoy yourself and do it without holding it over your girl friends head.Perhaps one reminder to her that the timing isn't one that you would like to repeat again.Learn to be wise in picking your battles!

I know how important the woman in my life is to me.

She don't ask for much......but when she does I'm there.....and that's gospel.

(and yes.....I'm missing the third week of my turkey season to be with her in Mexico......and I'll love every minute of it)

Life is all about balance. Carie asks me to make sacrifices for her and I do it willingly because she is willing to do the same for me. Last night I asked her about me going to New Zealand to hunt next year. She gave her blessing. Now I owe her one!

Sorry, she knew hunting was important with you from day one, right ?

She shouldn't expect you to give up a few days; you only get a few months a year to do this.

I would never expect Mr Java to miss any time for me. And he wouldn't expect to plan anything so that I would miss time in the woods.

If you really have to question this you might be with the wrong girl. I mean really three days is not even something to question. If it were your parents would you still be asking?

You really should feel honored to be ask to go along in the first place,to answer your question yes I would be very happy to spend three days with my wife.
