RE: Who has ever been busted while drawing?

I got busted by a doe last season.I was stuck athalf draw and she kept putting her head downlike she was going to eat and would whip her head up real quick trying to bustme.I ended up shooting over her from arm fatigue.Try holding a 70# 80% letoff Trykon at half draw for several minutes its not easy.

1 1/2 times.
#1) Big Doe @ 11 yards, she meandered between trails as she was feeding on green leaves, she caught me after I have drawn the 3rd time. bye-bye baby!
1/2) I was drawn on a button buck and while waiting for him to give me a broad side shot @ 6 yards when he looked straight up @ me, so he ate my arrow the hard way, tasty though!

I got to full draw on a coyote running straight to me (for no reason other than i got lucky), when he got to 20 yds, I whistle soft, he boogies without missing a step. They are smart ones.

RE: Who has ever been busted while drawing?

I tried drawing on a buck that walked right under my stand, he came from behind and was walking to give me a shot from the front left. As soon as i started drawing he busted, ran behind me while i was at full draw. I could see him from the corner of my eye looking at me while i was holding full draw. after what seemed like forever he started down the exact path but i was already drawn this time :Dhis antlers are hanging in my pole barn;)i should have let him get farther in front of me before i started drawing the first time.

RE: Who has ever been busted while drawing?

I've certainly been busted drawing over the years... I like to draw as early as possible (maybe whentheanimal is50-60 yards out, just depends how fastit's moving - you don't want to draw to soon andhave to let down either)... Some people try to draw when the deer is right on them - which is going to be more prone to setting off their alarm...
