I went ahead and bought a Truth. I got it from a buddy that has a sorta pro-shop that he runs out of his house. He is going to order it through becasue he can pay wholesale and then he's going to sell it to me for $399.99. All the other shops around have it for $499.99 or higher.

Is that $399 for a loaded bow? I bought my Truth bow new on eBay several months ago for $389 shipped with full factory warranty. I watched for several months after, because I was considering buying a second as a backup, and now you can pick one up new for around $300 for the bare bow. Isaw several go new forjust under $300 if you are patient enough to bid. I haven't watched it much lately, but I just looked and one is going for$339 for BuyIt Now.I think $399 is high for that bowright now, unless that includes accessories. I would keep an eye out. I know you can getthem new for cheaper than $399 now.

Yeah thats for a loaded bow. He's going to let me pick the accessories out of what he has in stock when the bow comes in.

I upgraded from the Bear Instinct to the Truth2, it is the smoothest fasted compound I have, and I have alot other than what is listed.

Both are quality as is all the bear line-up. They are made/ owned by escalade in evansville, In. about 20 min from me. They used to produce the XI line-up in the past. That was all I ever shot in the past,Xi. I never had a complaint,or problem that wasn't addressed promply and correctly. So I dont see them going down hill with Bear...IMO

I just bought my youngest son a Truth II, I am very impressed with that bow. For the money it would be hard to beat that bow.
