turkeys in bad weather -tips
 
im goin hunting tomarrow and it is 40 degress with 20 mph winds and a mix of rain- any tips for hunting in this?

Take something except a slate call, if it gets wet its done. If its real windy a box call carrys well to get the sound out there. If its raining, fields are a best bet. turkeys love fields when its raining. and dress warm by all means :D

like "bloodcreek"said, keep dry and watch the open fields. if you get too much wind then the turkeys will try to stand on the down wind side of any tree line in a field. it will be harder to call and get a verbal response back as well, they may sneak up on you.
