I laugh my a$$ off at Tred. If you can understand his sense of humor you will enjoy his shows, if you don't, turn him off.

Tred's the kind of guy I could have many drinks with and at the end of the night realize that I have a kindred spirit. He dances to the tune of his own music and so do I...... I've already had way toooooomany drinks LOL...

It's just a show and I simply choose not to watch it because it is not for me. I am critical but that's where it ends, I don't like to judge others. The shows that I like to watch are on the Outdoor and the Man channels. Easton's bowhunting, Adrenaline Outdoors, Whitetail Freaks, Ted Nugents Spirit of the Wild, and Eastmons Journal, just to name a few.

Tred has a unique character that sets himself away from the rest....for that reason he is successful....

I like how he shows the effort needed to connect with a longbow....I do get frusterated because I like to see a kill now and then....I wasn't impressed with his hog hunt with the knife....

Tred is awesome. My favorite by far. Alot of his fishing showsare done where I've beendoing alot of fishing the last few years. In and around the LI Sound, and off of Montauk Point. Tuna, Stripers, and Harbor Blues are all awesome to catch.

There's doing things the correct way......doing things right....even if it takes more time /effort......then there is being stupid and makeing more work for yourself.....

sure to each his own, but I'm thinking he leans towards the latter....on most things......

I sometimes here about guns as being too easy etc.....and I think, man has always been about technology, making his life easier.....think if a cave man could have had a .458 lott he wouldn't have used it? psssh, taking game more easily is what humans do, period! Now while we may have evolved more quickly than other species due to our intelligence, which truly is our own weapon, mono e mono with wild animals humans have very little, its our "tools" which were created by our intelligence that once leveled the field, and now may have tipped it in our favor. Though I'm not sure.

I enjoy bowhunting, I enjoy rifle, bow is more personal, have to get closer, in your face action, vs.....a 300yd shot say....but I dont feel like I did things the easy way....the non barta way when I do.

So yup!

I even watch his fishing shows LOL.
Now, I've only watched his huntingshow a couple of times and I actually enjoyed it, but I've never seen him fishing. Ican't help wondering how someone would fish "the hard way..... the Barta way". Maybe you'd have to strip down to your skivvies and wade on incarrying justa stick sharpened on a rock.
