Just wondering how much eveyones hunting arrows weigh...Thats total...nock, insert, fletchings, tip...everything included on your arrow when its in the quiver, ready to hunt...ready to fly toward some lungs:D

I think it will be interesting to see

Ok heres a question Im sure some of you can answer...

Like I said my arrows are ~365 grains

I shoot a Browning Myst at 27" draw and 63#

Is this the right arrow weight for me? This is something Im not really familiar with in archery, and I dont really know anything about optimal arrow weight. If I tried to tackle this it would just open a big can of worms.....So any expert advice would be apprecieated:D

What I did when I got my last new bow (at a local shop) I shot different weight arrows through the chrono until I found the one that gave me the most ke...I don't know if this is correct but I have had no problems doing it this way. I am fixing to have to do it again as I am waiting on a new bow.I will do it the same way. I am sure if this is wrong, someone will let us know as on this forum I hear the guys talking about momentum, I always thought I wanted the most ke I could get????

I haven't made up my mind exactly what I want to do yet.

Currently my arrows weigh 434 grains.

They may weigh 459 grains this fall.

Or I may go even heavier.

Who needs speed anyway? ;)

I'm in the majority at a well balanced 362 grain arrow, that is swift I might add ;)

I honestly don't know...But I know how she flies...and it looks straight...:)

Seriously...I don't weigh mine...I read the paper and buy the carbon...and use 100 grains..
