Tagging out before the rut.
 

This is just sort of a fun post if its been posted before sorry. If you tagged out before the rut would you still go out?I've never not had a tag during the rut, but I'm still fairly new to hunting so I know its bound to happen sooner or later.

I think I would go out some because I really enjoy being out there during the rut. I love to use calls so thats probably part of my reason. Theres just something about trying to fool a deer and get them into range.

So lets get to it post your thoughts.

I'll be out there, but mainly because I won't be tagged out. Even if I kill my buck in early october, I can kill as many does as I want, and firearms season opens early november....Right back at it.

Ditto, I just love being in the woods, and with $2 doe tags you best your ascot I'll be in a tree or on the ground putting on a stalk!

Nothing else, it would be a good time to sit in a tree with the brother and video him.

I'd be out there. I always have 3 doe tags and I'd be looking for a few good spots for the wife for rifle season. I also save a doe tag for flintlock season.
