How many ARCHERY bucks have you taken (not including BB's)?

How many years have you been hunting deer with a bow?

Might as well add age structure if you're so inclined.

For me....

5 archery bucks

<3 seasons

(1) 1.5yr old; (2) 2.5 yr olds; (1) 3.5yr old and (1) 4.5yr old

3 and 3 one, spike 1 1/2yo, 1 7pt 2 1/2 yo, 1 5pt 2 1/2 yo The spike was the 2006 season the 5 & 7 were both the 2007 season.

I have killed 3 bucks in 6 years of hunting with a bow. I killed a 2 1/2 year old 8 point, a 3 1/2 year old 7 point, and a 3 1/2 year old 10.

14 in 21 years.
Killed everything from a spike to 136"

15 seasons now: I think I'm somewhere around 25 bucks- hunting all public or open private land inPA, WV, MD, and OH. Of those, 2 or 3may have been in the3.5 range, with 4-5 more that I'd guess were 2.5. All the rest were 1.5 year old dinkers.

Hopefully - the age averages will continue to increase - now that I think I'm finally huntingin a few areas where the deer can age a little bit. Time will tell.

Oh, I'm not sure if he was 3.5 or 4.5......I personally think he was 4.5, but......I just don't know for sure.

5 in 20 seasons. about 7 of those seasons I was either too invloved in school, girls, partying etc to hunt. Simply bought a tag and went maybe twice.:(I've taken it much more serious since I hit my late 20's. As for deer taken.....4 1.5's, 1 either 3.5 or 4.5...not sure.

Five years, 3 bucks: 1 1/2 6pt, 2 1/2 8pt, and one ugly 2 1/2 3pt.

10 yrs bow hunting
9 bucks 4 long horn spikes 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 and 1 3 1/2, a 10 pt that was 7 1/2, a 11 pt that was 3 1/2, 2 8pt's 2 1/2-3 1/2, 1 7pt that was 2 1/2.

3 seasons and 2 bucks. I am fifteen and have shot a 5 pt. 1.5, and 8 pt. 1.5.
I am going to not shot any thing under 2.5 next year and 3.5 the next.(TRY)

five years of hunting. 1 8 point buck. I just started bow hunting seriously last year though. The other years were only for fun, maybe going out two or three times all year. SO hopefully a lot more to come.

In the neighborhood of 25 bucks - 18 years hunting

Ranging from spikes to 4.5 yr olds

the older deer

2-4.5 yr old
2 -3.5 yrs
several 2.5's and 1.5's

30bucks and 6 spikes in20 seasons
we are allowed3 bucks for archery seasons 1 for each fall ,permit,winter bow
and i get 138 days of just hunting with the bow
all together its like 230days of hunting deer bow,muzzy,shotgun
bow gets 138 days
muzzy gets 61 days
shotgun gets 43 days
ps ,we could harvest 6 bucks a year and unlimited does

11 Bucks by bow in 8 seasons. One year only went out twice and shot nothing because of a divorce. I am lucky and have an area for now that has a heavy deer population in a bow only county near a forest preserve. I took three friends out last season and put every one on 120-140 class bucks and they all missed their shots!![:-]

4 bucks in 6 years---all 2.5 year olds I believe. A 6, two 7 pointers, and an 8 pointer.

remember guys, it doesn't sound like a lot of us have killed a lot bucks of over a long period of time, but many of us pass an ass load of bucks up after the first 2 or 3 yrs of hunting. The numbers are slighted a bit because of this, I know many of us on here could have taken over 20 bucks in as many years if we were just concerned about numbers.;)

41 bucks, 21 bow bucks and 20 gun bucks. 41 seasons total, 30+ bow seasons.

Bow bucks - 4 pt, 6 pt, (10) 8 pts, (3) 9 pts, (3) 10 pts, 11 pt, 12 pt and a 14 pt.

17 that gross over 120 and 8 P&Ys.

Have been bow hunting for8 yrs, have killed 3 1.5 yr old spikes. one of which still had one side in velvet. A 1.5 yr old 4 pt and a 1.5 yr old 5 pt and a 3.5 yr old 130" 10 pt.

I have 22 years under my wing with the bow. I have26 archery bucks under my belt. If you toss in the buttons and the BIG GRANNY'S I'm in the low 80's for bow kills...

I mean..... hey...I live in Michigan....its the land of calcium...We need to change our culture here....the norm is ...calcium on skull....put it down....+ we have a ton of hunters...

Let them grow Michiganders....Unless you have limited access.....then you should take your animal and enjoy your venison.

15 years hunted 30 or so bucks with bow aged any where from 1 1/2 to 5 1/2. smallest a 3 pt biggest 188" gross 12 pt

And by the way.....GMMAT...your bucks are a bigger than my biggest..it just goes to show that it doesn't take years and years in the woods to take a biggin.....I guess there are alot of variables that effect this..state, the land you hunt, patience....I wouldn't trade a great memory of a kill for anything...but I have to say....NICE Job GMMAT....I really enjoy learning from you on here...
