Dont stop shed hunting.I found 9 pointer and skull today.
 

I went out after work today and I founda recently killed9 point.My friend first found a leg and some hair.About 100 yards further by a creek I found the skull with spine attatched.The rack looks real old and white like it has been weathered for years.I only took a couple pictures this guy is ripe smelling.Dont stop searching I just started finding sheds the last 3 days.

Nice looking Rack you found MechDoc....I would finish cleaning it up and hang that on a wall.Its a shame it had to end that way though,that would have been an awesome Buck to hunt in the 2008 Season. :(

MECHDOC... It would be my estimation that skull is from this past year and not years back like you stated. It looks to be from a deer that would have died during warmer weather too.

But definately a dead deer from this year.

Wow, gorgeous buck. Had you seen him at all during the seasons? Any theories on his demise?

No I never seen him while hunting.I have seen many rubs before that I now think were from him.I think he died of old age,and the winter beat him down.The coyotes dragged him all over so Im not really sure where he died or how.
