Homemade Stabilizer

I just made this stabilizer the other day. All parts are aluminum except for the hardware which is stainless. I think it turned out alright. I was debating on the colors but just went with flat black and the polished aluminum look for now. I just plan on using it for target/3-D anyways. I'll post better quality pics when I get my camera back. I had to use a backup camera to take these. I havesome ideas for more. I just wanted something different from everyone else. Opinions welcome.

Looks great! Thanks for posting. If you get a chance post how you made it.

You should be safe from the "Lynch Mob Lemmings" as I don't think any members here make and sell their own stabilizers.

Looks really good. Did you use a CNC lathe?

Very very nice. I would be interested in how you made it (I'm assuming CNC lathe as well). I turned one on a manual lathe back in 7th grade out of a 24"x3/4" aluminum rod...lol that thing was heavy.

Never even seen those before but, yeah, I guess it is similiar.

I did use a Mill and Lathe to do it right. An angle finder was a must for the circles milled out. The rest requires a tap set and some calibers! LOL. I am sure someone out there can do it with a ruler, drill, hacksaw and some bubble gum but I am not that talented. :DI am going to start another one tomorrow!
