I read this a lot about tubed peeps. Now, I have nothing against a tubed peep, if it works for you, then very good. But I would like to point out that after practicing all summer, at least 1500+ shots, I know my tubeless peep will be there 100% every time in the moment of truth. Actually, Iam confident thatall of my gear will perform as it should 100% every time in the moment of truth. That is the whole reason I practice all summer, up until the season starts and the reason I practice, although less, during the season ;).

Regardless of what gear you use you should practice with it enough to give you the confidence that it will perform in the manner that you expect.

But BigJ...what if I practice all year long and get my string broken in well before season?:D It shouldn't creep on me.

I used to use the peep tubing but did away with it when I bought my bowtech. I just put new strings on my bow. My peep has turned a little bit but I will fix it so it is not a problem and it will definitely be fixed before hunting season.

But we all know what works forourselves and thats the only thing that matters.;)

You guys are great! I'm glad you saw my post for what it was....my opinion. I agree with deepzak that if you change it every year your odds of having it start to creep (because it's coming to the end of it's service life) are diminished greatly.

Some of you guys either forgot or don't know but I also shoot a tubeless peep. My hunting bow however gets a tube on it..call is extra security but I just feel more comfortable with it on their when I hit the field.

I'm not going to try to convince you that tube style peeps are better than tubeless.....I'm not even convinced of thatmyself...I'm just trying to dispel some of the misrepresentations tagged on the the poor tubed peeps of the world.

Sort of like a "tubed peep crusader":D:D:D
