Only thing that scares me is.......I may miss an opportunity on another good buck (relative tot his area).....trying to find another one. I have areas that have produced. I'm just looking for different deer, I guess.

The part that intrigues me is the different styles I'll get introduced to. I've never been able to hug a bedding area real tight during the rut. I'll ge tthat chance, now,.....if I choose to. I'll also have access to trails leading to a destination food source. NEVER have I had that for ag crops.

If nothing else....it'll be new scenery.;)

Charlie....

I have, now.....600 or so acres I can hunt. I don't have time to scout it all....given I have two weekend days a week and a family.

When you go from hunting 80 acres to having access to that many.....it's a bit overwhelming. One parcel (the largest) is an hour away from home, too.

I think I'd rather learn them one property at a time. I'll probably spend more time on the local new find.......because it's convenient....and I KNOW a little about it. I'll be in it this weekend, for sure. I can shed hunt and look for some stand sites in a day, probably. It's gonna take a season or two to "learn" it.

Piece of cake.:D Do alot of the work right on your computer. Seriously you can save your self a lot of time using aeiral and topo's.

It sure will. I enjoy it all most as much as the hunt.

I've beenscouting on a 15,000 WMA off and on for about four years now, one of these day's I'm going to actually hunt it.

Oh boy you think you wondered if you were sitting in the right spot before.:DYou might want to line up a therapist now, for the upcoming season.

You should have seen me at home, last night.....doing just that. I had the satellite image software on overdrive, last night.

I'll post up a photo of the land as soon as I figure out how.....and let everyone do one of those stand placement things!:D
