Default crossbow question...

I'm looking to purchase my first crossbow because I messed my shoulder and elbow up playing football so tradtional bowhunting is no longer an option. I'm looking at a Barnett Rhino 4 system and it seems like it will be perfect for whitetail. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the Forums, frankthetank. I think you will prob get more help with your question in the "Cross Bow" section. Maybe someone will know in here, though. Here is a link... http://www.huntingnet.com/forum/tt.aspx?forumid=96

Default crossbow question

So needless to say I will need a scope. I wont have my CB till tomorrow and I am guessing that the scope that is on it is not a crossbow scope.

Depends what you want to pay. I suspect darn near any will kill deer. If I didn't have one I would look at the inverted style. Supposed to balance better. I tossed and turned on this for a long time. I ended up getting a 10 point titan. Because I could it refurbished and good rep. Figured good as any. Ya not the best route. But I went over and over bunch of models.

Actually in general I am all for not starting new threads and using existing info. Often alot has been covered in old threads, and is a waste of time to start a new one. Not much was really covered in this old one. But I don't think it hurts if the guys want to just add to it instead of starting another. The new post doesn't really fit the conversation though.

You do get older or non computer people that want to ask questions, They google or search something that leads them to a thread.

People also complain when people don't use the search functiom. Not like there was a back and forth conversation in this thread. To bad the guy who started it didn't lets us know what he got.
