RE: carrying your bow with a gun?

ORIGINAL: OKbowhunter20

This happened to me this morning...the turkeys wouldnt come to a call into range of my ground blind (where I was waiting with bow in hand), so I did a run n gun with my shotgun and got one

My suggestion, if you want to get one with your bow...dont even bring the gun with you..it'll end up in your hands instead of the bow, I promise
How did you get a bird?? Oklahoma's season dosent open till April 6th. Ft. Sill maybe??

I know in the Missouri archery deer season, you are not allowed to carry a gun.
