Prayers sent buddy.

I lost my Grandmother 2 weeks ago. Similar situation, she was in the nursing home for a few years. Six months ago she was diagnosed with cancer of the espophogas (sp) and then caught the flu. She then took a turn for the worse. She died with family by her side and is now once again rejoined with her husband in heaven.

I lost 3 grandparents in 3years. It is a part of life...but it still doesn't get any easier.

My thoughts are with you. My dad passed away last year under similar circumstances, it was a relief.
