I just received this on an email and thought i would share -i am sure someone has a different story than the one in the email.

A group of hunters were losing their lease after 25 years of painstaking quality deer management.

They felt inclined to take the fruits of their labor on their final hunt. (picture attached)

I don't know where this was but there seems to be a couple of shooters in the bunch.

I wonder what the total score would be. I see many that would go 150''!

Must have run some dogs through a piece of non-hunted land! Just line up and make a perimeter...aim and shoot!

Yeah I know, Tony. Imagine the stealth, experience, woodsmanship, etc... it took to get on those patriarchs of the forest..........those mature bucks.:D

Im calling Photoshop too! Im seeing a few issues with this photo. 2 that stand out to me are that there are all those leaves in front of them, while in the backround the firest floor doesn't look quite like that, and on the left most bottom deer in the pile it looks like there is another deer there but looks like it was cut out and smudged to try to blend in with the leaves.

I may be wrong but in my professional opinion this is a faked photo.

To me personally, it is a shame to see animals stacked like cordwood, tho I think DoubleCreek is right, they do look all like mounts. No one would throw deer in a pile like that, yet at the same time take all that time to clean every speck of blood off the deer! Think about it. As for all you over jealous freaks out there that say its impossible, get over it please.

Ahhhhh DC, you beat me to it. You can tell that most of them are mounts. Look at the ears and the eyes.....I've never seen a dead buck with alert ears and wide open eyes.

I'm agreeing with the photoshop along with use of already mounted deer claims.

Along with the previously mentioned evidence, anyone else notice the random antler in the bottom left of the picture growing out of the ground?

Its fake for two obvios reasons I can see...

1) the deers ears...most of them are in mounted postitions and stiff (not floppy as if they were reciently killed)

2) there are two areas where I can see deer overlaping that shouldent be

That is part of what I was trying to explain. There is a half smudges deer head on the bottom left of the pile.

Does anyone else notice that there seems to be an antler "growing out of the ground" on the far left....photo shop for sure.....

Looks like they buried the guy on the left up to his neck and then threw rocks at him until his antler fell off. I think that technology has got the better of us. I think that it's fun to play with photoshop but I also think that there needs to be a disclaimer added that a photo was done in fun. Heck you could evenopen a photoshop I'm sure that some of those deer are in fact real. I think that the story of losing the lease would have been portrayed better with a classic layout of the deer mounted on the barn wall with the hunters.
