Not Just another day at Rob's house!!
 

Well I arrived at Rob's today for a great day of shooting outside and indoors. We started by warming up in his back yard and things did not look good as I lost an arrow pretty quickly. As the snow and sleet started to fall I started to get my form that i so longed to find. Then Rob popped the question....Do you want to shoot a round of B.U.C.K. I said sure Im up for the butt kickin! He assured me of one thing, HE NEVER LOST IN A GAME OF B.U.C.K. IN HIS YARD. Well all I got to say is all streaks must end and it ended today with the winning shot being a 20 yard shot on a turkey but had to hit the beard.
The shot before that was a 50 yarder I had to hit the bullseye on to keep the game going, I did then I ended it with the shot on the turkey. Ok done with the outdoor shooting and Robs butt kicking. We head to Catawissa and the indoor range. Well Rob got his revenge and whooped me indoors. All in all it was a great day of shooting. We saw some deer and some turkey,and as Rob said we saw a STRUTTER. When we get back to Rob's Ben(bowtechben) is there and since he is going left handed I let him shoot my General. He did real well in Rob's basement till he moved back a little and sunk one of my arrows in a 2x6 stud about 10ft in front of him. All I got to say is those Easton Lightspeeds are some tuff arrows!:D
I had a great time and look forward to my next trip up north to shoot around and piss a day away telling stories and shooting a round of B.U.C.K. cause I'm the champ at that game now! Rob it was a pleasure![8D]

Yup, I was waiting on this thread.

I have officially been beaten for the first time in a round of B.U.C.K in my back yard. I've had some good shooters and many have tried but all have failed. Tim did what all men have failed to do in the past. It was a good run and I'll take the pecentages. Great shooting Tim. :(

And we moved to indoors at Catawissa. Had a great time there too. The best was the adult beverages and wings down the street. I told you Jenny would smell the garlic wings on me, didn't take her long. ;)

Once you had to leave, Ben and continued to mess with the bows. I ended up tearing down and reseting my 82nd just because and Ben broke out a friends Parker that was way out of whack. We got that straightened out too.

Had a great time, now charge that damn camera so we can share the spinning turkey head challenge shot. :D [8D]

The camera is charging. I will have pictures ofthe turkeys in the feild and the spinning turkey to! Hey im sorry she smelled the wings and beer! Sorry Jenny (damn were they good!):DGlad you got the bows straightened out. Im thinking we got to move closer!:D

Sounds like a great time! I can't believe the B.U.C.K. streak has been broken...crazy:D Ben, if you're reading this, how was the left-hand shooting now that you got your hands on the bow? Still ready to make the switch?

Ya, thank God those lightspeeds are tough arrows. Matt, I am still making the switch, its just gonna take some time. The funny thing is I went to Rob's, to get a shipping box for my Commander and I shoot Tim's bow and um grabbed beer, then we are tearing bows down, and i get home.....yep no box. Wish I could have been there for the King's exile Tim, it was a personal goal of mine to be the first to beat him on his home court, but thats not possible now buddy....good job!!

Ha Ha Ha Rob got spanked. LOL!!! Well I had the pleasure of beating him at the indoor 3D course too. LOL!!! YOu know I had to get that in Rob. Gotta get down again sometime soon and see how the wings are down your way.

Sounds like a great day of story telling, shooting and friends with some wings thrown in. It don't get much better than that .

Rob getting beat on home turf , thats not good . How will you live it down .
Enlighten me to what B.U.C.K is exactly , i'm intrigued ..... never heard of it before .

Wings are great down this way, several places.

Bailsuk, it's like playing H.O.R.S.E in basketball. Ever play that? Well if not, and I let my guests go first, the first shooter calls a shot, could be anykind of shot and both (all) shooters shoot that shot. Whomever doesn't hit the shot, they get a letter, in the case B. The other shooter calls his shot and if he makes it, and the other shooter doesn't, he gets a B. You take turns calling shots and whomever doesn't make the shot gets a letter until you spell B.U.C.K and then one final shot to put the icing on the cake!

Wow, beat the man on his own turf. I would say he must have been off his game but he beat you indoors so I'd say Rob took a straight up whoopin'.;)

It sounds like you guys had a great time. I gotta get up there some time to check the place out.
