06 Bear kill on vid...Hoyt & NAP SPitfire XP's
 

Hey guys...This shot was crystal clear and I'm not sure how to get it to look clear on the forum...I know its crappy but you should be able to get a good feel of the moment...

This was a Hoyt Havoctec, Quicktune fletch (I do not like) and carbon express (I liked) with NAP spitfire XP's.( I love)...Patience...I will try rage the year.... or flint :)

:)oooooh...this years hunt.....a soft subject....guys...I did the bow....I'm going to bust one on Vid this year with my Hornady SST's out of the H&R ultra slug 12.....I just want to take one with gun on vid...

Gosh guys...I'm not going to go for bear for a while after this...I'm gonna head west....should I skip the gun and go for a 3rd kill with lighted knocks...???? Or stay with my gun plan.....you know I'm not shy...I'll post the vid on the bowhunter site....only cuz I know there is love...:)

nice video. I video taped a buddy shooting a bear with his bow many years ago. he has the tape. it was recorded on vhs. you can hear the death moan real good.

michigan, do whatever you want! i would personally head out with the slug gun to switch it up (you obviously proved you can do it with a bow;)), and if you post the video of a gun kill here, no ones gonna bash you, theres plenty of gun hunters on here, including me

Rory - I got the same vibe...I don't need to do the bowhunt again to prove anything...Its a hunt for me and what I want...and what the bear deserves...and thats a clean kill and an Mpeg on the forum for all to see.....oh wait!!!!!!!......I think I just heard a turkey gobble!!

I wanted you to see that shultz.....I'm going again in May...My next Journey is going to be west...man those bears really bring out the instincts....Its like playing paintball.....This thing can get me....I know they're curious creatures....but they have instincts....I 've never shot a bear that never looked me right square in the eyes first..........it really makes you pick a spot....or maybe even asmall hair...right behind the shoulder......when we meet I'll show you the full vid. with the death cry....and you can show me what its like to take an animal wider than 17 inches...



Bear huntin....brings those chills to the spine....
