One morning I was setting in my stand half asleepabout1 hour before daylight. When I heard a Funny wooshing sound; I looked up and a great horned owl was flying through the woods directly at me with its talons out. I closed myeyes andjerked my hand upand it couldn't have missed me by 4 feet. The only thing I can figure is that it saw thereflection ofthe moon in my eyes but couldn't see my face becauseI had my face mask on.Thatpuckerd me up so bad mybutt wouldn't let go of the seat for a couple minutes.
