To always keep it fun ...... and not get caught up in all the technological aspects of today's "deer hunter"

I would love to go out and arrow all the animals mentioned, but above them, I would love to get a chance to go after a bighorn sheep with my bow!

To take at least one of every big game species in North America, but not necessarily every sub-species (such as Canada moose, Yukon moose, etc) one of each major species would be enough for me. Problem is I spend every fall hunting elk, mule deer, whitetails, and sometimes caribou which doesn't leave much time for others but I'll figure it out

Mine are some tough ones but hey anything is possible I guess. I've been lucky enough so far to where I have a P@Y whitetail and a P@Y bear with my recurve. Being my bear scored fairly high in the books I can honestly say that If I never shoot a bigger one I'm totally cool with that. As for whitetails I'd love to get one thats in that 160"+ range. I think its very possible but time will tell I guess. I've hunted elk in Montana for 7 years and still nothing with my recurve. That is a big goal for me to take an elk with my recurve. I've actually had 2 close opportunities (30 yards) at 300" class bulls, just a tad out of range. Both times I had the nice bulls coming into me I passed on the cows for a chance at the bulls, no one's fault but my own for not taking a chance at the cows. I know it can happen, just getting out there is whats stopping me now (money issues). My number one goal in my life though is to give my daughter the opportunity to do what I've been doing for the last 30 years, to enjoy the outdoors and hope like hell she's tagging along with her dad in the woods. If she's up for that it would just melt my heart. I have a feeling in won't be a problem, she's a daddy's girl inside and out already!

1. Teach my son how respect the outdoors, and become a good, responsible hunter.
2. I would like to take a P & Y here in PA
3. Take a Black Bear with my bow in PA
4. Go somewhere like IL or IA and take a really nice buck.
I'm sure I could think of a few more things.

First and foremost, have a safe and fun time in the woods every time i go.
Second- put my brother on his first deer. We came close this past year, but just never sealed the deal.
As for my personal goals outside those 2, i have a few. Eventually i would like to take one representative from each major species of big game in NA. Whitetail and Bear are done. I have applied for my Maine moose permit, so im keeping my fingers crossed on that one. Im currently looking into a couple of outfitters for cougar and pronghorn, so that might be int he near future as well. Also saving up for a dallsheep hunt. Unfortunately they all take lots of time and $$$$, butoneday.
Take my first p&Y whitetail. I would really like on in NJ, but ill take it anywhere. I was invited out to Kansas this fall, a buddy has an extra landowner tag, so im going to try to find the time to get out there.
