Calrissian, born on Socorro, went on to become the Baron Administrator of Cloud City for a time before it was taken over by the Galactic Empire during the Galactic Civil War. Subsequently, he joined the Rebel Alliance and successfully led the dangerous mission to enter the second Death Star's core and destroy its reactor.
