Ground Blinds are "cheating" and devaluing "archery toms"
It's just as hard to kill one out of a ground blind
This is the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

The ground blind took this activity from the "nearly impossible" category and moved it into the "very difficult" box.
Best post I've read in this thread so far.

I would think that using a blind HAS to make it easier. I've never used one, but I have tried without one to no avail. Now whether or not one feels that taking an easier route is cheating is all up to the individual. I'm not touching the shotgun no blind vs bow & blind.

Blinds have been used to gain an advantage on game long before Double Bull or Ameristep were even a thought.
We have a winner.

Shooting a turkey without a blind is harder kind of like trying to shoot a 140" deer in Florida as opposed to IL or IA. It just is. Still get a bit congrats from me either way though.

The one thing it has done is given wheelchair bound hunters an opportunity to realistically kill a gobbler. And that is a good thing.

............b/c blind hunting has become widely accepted in the hunting world. Just calling a spade a spade, that's all.
Since blinds have become "widely accepted", they're not a spade. They're a peach.
