Best exit and entrance tactic?
 

We have a new piece of property that sits North and South. Most of it is tillable with some nice foodplots. My question is how should we enter and exit without disturbing as little wildlife as possible? Get in early and leave late? This is in big time farm country, what about have a truck come and pick up the hunter(s)? Anyone ever used any of these? Thoughts?

Really, it's yourspot so get out there and scout it. Nobody can tell you how best to enter and exit if they've never even seen the lay of the land, much lesswithout knowingthe active game trails.

I had a place once....If you parked your truck there, no matter how well it was concealed, you would barely see deer. But if someone dropped you off, you go to the stand running and screaming and see plenty of deer.

It was strange...they just knew

But like Arthur said, none of us know your land like you do;)

But I guess what I am asking is what tactics have you used entering and exiting your stand sites that proved successful?;)

Get out really early in the morning. If you have to walk near their feeding areas you have to walk in quietly in the morning. I have this same issue in the thumb of Michigan. Avoid all trucks. They know you're there....If you can enter in the morning through the woods not to disturb deer coming off the feeding fields I would try that too....Good Luck

Stay away from the bedding areas is kind of common sense when walking in for the evening hunts. When hunting in the mornings try to stay in the woods more if you can, deer are usually feeding out in the fields before day light breaks.

How early do you think is practical? 1 hour? 2 hours? Hope it is not the latter! ;)
