Default Bow Hunting Clothing

I hunt western PA here WMU 2B. This is my first season with a bow down here and looking at getting some clothing. Generally when archery comes in its from 35-60degrees depending...Looking to find a nice set of pants and jacket.

Im planning on buying the Medalist base layers this year and was considering scent lok but its too expensive and ive decided there is just too much hype around it and just not going down that road....

Any suggestions on a nice set of outer wear that is warm, quiet, weather proof, and maybe inhibits scent somewhat?..

I would suggestion the Scent Lok Dakota series. I know you said it is too expensive and you think there is too much hype around it, but the price thing can be helped and Scent Lok lives up to the hype. This time of year is great for purchasing your hunting clothing. Many places have the stuff on clearance. www.midwayusa had Scent Lok at 50% off a while back. I know Cabelas has some Scent Lok, as well as Scent Blocker (great also) in their clearance bin at big savings. Also, check out e-bay, I was able to purchase a complete set of Scent Blocker Fleece for my dad at 75% less than normal prices. Just shop around and don't be in a hurry to buy. Back to your orginal question, the Dakota series would work great for the temps your are talking about dealing with in your area.
