RE: What do you think about at full draw?
I get to full draw, think pick a spot, "aim small, miss small" (after seeing the patriot), then the rest just happens.

RE: What do you think about at full draw?
I am thinking about whatever I have been doing incorrectly lately. If I have been dropping my arm, I am thinking about making sure I keep my arm up. This works most of the time. However, I will sometimes screw up and "over" correct. Perfect example is last night, shooting my 300 round, first arrow 3" high and drop the first point of the year.

J/K, So far it's only been at targets so I keep imaging a monster buck stepping out in front of me. I remind myself to look through the peep (make sure it's not twisted) perfect sight allignment and the three points of anchor and form. |

RE: What do you think about at full draw?
ORIGINAL: Rick James When I'm shooting well I'm consciously focused on the x ring once I've hit my anchor point. Before that I'm focused on mentally walking through the steps in my shot sequence, and visualizingthat perfect shot. Once I hit anchor though and it all feels right, I commit andflip the switch and the only thing I'm thinking of is x ring. If something pops it's head up to break that concentration it's time to let down, regroup, and start over. |
