Personally, I'd probably say "Send me to Okeechobee!" I'll take smaller deer for the chance to fish there every day for those big bass. I love bass fishing almost as much as deer hunting.

Jimmy John, yes the sandwich guy. I am best friends with his land manager, intimately aquainted with his land, just no permission. Unreal potential, lots of monsters, very confident that I could whack one out there, especially is P&Y was the qualification and not B&C

With all do respect to the big buck states.... I'd head north to hunt with fellow HNI big buck killer, Hiawatha... in his home province of Sask.
I still feel he'll be the first guy on this site to arrow a 200 inch buck someday.. when I spent that week up there the country just screams monster bucks and the shed piles and racks hanging around the little towns I visited...were freakish.. Human populations is very minimal and the quality of farm crops is top notch, combined that with amazing genetics and bucks that have a great chance of growing old in the big bush country that butts up against the crop fields.. |

Probably my teammate for the contest "Hammerman"........dude hunts his own ground in Pike Co. IL every year.
Not coincidentally he shoots a P&Y pretty much every year. Any of the guys hunting West Central IL I'd switch places with in a heartbeat. |

It is easier for me to indicate where it wouldn't be(The Hudson Valley of New York State) lot's of good area's around the country.
I hunt near Troy's part of the country every year with a rifle and would love to live out there and go after it with archery equipment.Nothing comes easy in that country but they are there.Otherwise Iowa,Illinois,Kansas,Kentucky,Ohio,Montana,The bow zones in Canada.Any one of those would work for me! |

SinceI couldn't hunt with the person(s) or ask them questionsabout their land I would hunt at Lee and Tiffany Lakowski'sfarms.

Well I know no one would want to hunt with me because y'all hardly know who I am and my stats are 0. I don't really know where any of you hunt but my guess would either have to be Matt/ PA or the guy with the"Top 5 bucks taken" thread that Irecently told I didn't like him much anymore (ha ha). One of my favorite shows to watch is Adrenaline Outdoors and if I had a chance to hunt with them, I would do it in a heart beat.

The bucks I take are just tougher than everyone else's. Mine scrapple and get into it and bust some head gear. All of your'ins tip toe through the woods going "oh, watch my antlers", "not so yard I might break a tine".....wussy deer! |

Yeah, if I had to take a PY - you're looking for an area where the genetics produce typical, even mainframes with solid mass & tine length. I'd be hunting with Hunsucker... Judging from the pictures he posts - there are a lot of deer that would net out PY minimums.
But, a close runner-up goes to Hiawatha in SK - dude has access to some monster whitetails, and I like my odds of scoring a PY buck up there as well. So... I'llstack all my chips on Hunsucker and Hiawatha's areas. |
