Delimma....which route should I go

I'm really trying to decide what setup I want to go with for hunting deer this year. I'm trying to decide what kind of arrow configuration I want to go with. I'm between going with ACC's and the Victory VForve HV's that I've been shooting now. The finished arrow weight on the Victory's are about 340if I go with a wrap, which I'm eventually going to put on. Right now, they are about 330gr and shooting 290fps out of my ROSS Cardiac. The ACC's at about 380gr I'm guessing, will go 270fps. This is going to be purely on deer sized game. Opinions are very appreciated, but I'm not looking for 330grs is way too light for deer, I've had pass throughs the past two years with that weight bracket, 20yds and 35yd shots, mechanical ont he 35ydr, and Muzzy on the 20.

Also, would I be looking at a 3-49 ACC? What kind of arrow weight would I be looking at with a 100gr point, and betweeen 27-28" arrow?

I dont see a Delimma...

Are your current arrows not very good quality?

I shoot a 480 grain arrow, to each his own.

My hunting arrows weigh about 375grn. Ive never gotten into the whole hunting arrow weight game myself, I think whatever my arrows weigh, setup the way i want them,is what ill be shooting.

same here in a way. I like how the FMJs are heavy, but I shoot them because I like these arrows and the idea of the smaller diameter shafts. Heavier shafts do increase KE and make a bow quieter though.

I say shoot whatever arrows you have, if they are shooting well. The only reason I upgraded to the camo FMJs is because my old carbon express arrows were JUNK.[:'(]

Good thing your state doesn't have a legal minimum weight you have to hunt with... [&:]

Our arrows have to weigh at least 420 grains at 70#. Mine are about 15 over that.

I'd go the heavier route, personally.

And I MAY, go heavier this year, But as far as right now, GT Hunterswith 100grn tip does the job. Its my short draw/arrow that gets me.(25.25" shaft)

That's stillWAY more K.E. than needed for a deer....
