Nah, the 82nd can't be Tuned and Shot...LOL

After shooting fairly well in the indoor 5 spot league, 300 with 53X's I took that Viper Predator Pro MT with 2 .019 pins and 2 .010 pins off and put on a new Viper Predator Pro MT with 4 .010 pins, green yellow, green yellow. I moved the old one over to another bow.

After shooting some arrows and resighting t he bow, these were my last shots at 20, 30, 40, and 50 yards as I tired.

Here's 20 yards,

Here's 30 yards,

And here's 40 yards,

And then 50 yards.

Wow Rob! How did you ever get such a low brace height, miserable draw cycle, impossible to tune bow to shoot like that?! You must be a master bow tuner ;). Or maybe it could just be a heck of a bow in the hands of someone who knows how to shoot. Nice shooting and I am glad to hear how much you like that bow. I am still waiting for the rest of my Octane accessories to arrive.

How close are your pins stacked together ?

I have the sword twilight hunter with .10 pins alternating green and blue on my 101st -they are all stacked pretty close together 20-40 - I hadn't shot 50 yet with mine

But that is some great shooting -

Frank, here is the old Viper sight, you can get an idea of gap. Even at 330 fps, there is still a gap as I have my sight bar all the way out to optimize accuracy.

Thanks for the pic ,Rob I like how yours are spaced

Would moving my sight bar out farther help my 20 and 30 yard gap - there is a small gap now but it makes it difficult to put the 30 yard pin on a small target - 40 drops down a little further soI am good there-

Extending a sight will gap pins a little more;)

Ask Ben how he made out shooting B.U.C.K. with me..;)

I called the white of my turkey targets head from 50 yards, that one earned him his K. [8D] Yeah, I nailed it, he didn't. :D

True, very true. I will be back to exact revenge. As Rob is "undefeated" in his home court of B.U.C.K, my new reason for living is to be the first.:D

Great shooting Rob, I am sure the 82nd will be in rare form tomorrow. I got some shooting in today and it cost me one of the new dozen. I hope I can keep up the arrow destruction tomorrow, and not my own.:D

LOL Ben, I didn't attempt that one again, that's still yours.

FYI all, Ben made an awesome shot, at 59 yards we had the Block target behind the deer target. You could see the DOT target under there and he called it. You had to just miss the deers leg and under his chest to hit it. Damned if he didn't hit it so it was my turn and of course I'm going for it but with my speed bow, the arch isn't as much however.....I think I nicked the deer's leg and the only thing we could find of my arrow was about 3" and fletch and the nock layed off to the side...LOL

That was my only letter, that gave me a B. and then I layed the smack down on for the U.C.K for Ben. [8D]

You have a little "toes downhill" footing on your 50 yard stance don't you?

Wow Rob very good shooting! I actually shot 2 arrows the other day back at 50 yards and put them both in the bull and was happy as **** till I got up to the block and noticed the that the bull I shot for was worn out and arrows penetrated to deep and hit my garage wall ruining them both I went from:Dto [:@]. Anyways great shooting!!

Yup, the level comes into play bigtime in my backyard. I was explaining that to Ben and he was astonished.

I was amazed at the difference. All these years shooting in my yard which is honestly like this \ , and I never looked at the level[&:] Certainly has changed my shooting.

Matt, I'm glad you had the chance to see what shooting on a side hill does while not using and using a level. It could make or break a successful hunt and it sure as hell makes or breaks a 3D score.

Brian (BPB), see you in a couple hours!
