I bought a mathews back in jan. 04 from an individual on ebay and didn't have any problems.It was what I was looking for at the time,a longer compound to shoot fingers with. It looked brand new even though it was a few years old and had a new string ($100) on it.Got it for $300 from a preacher in Mich. Good luck
