Whisker biscuit malfunction

My whisker biscuit has recently experienced a catastrophic failure.........Has anyone experienced this or maybe I should ask "Is this common?".........I've been thinking about a drop away rest for a little while and am thinking this might be the time to make the transition instead of replacing the busted parts of my biscuit......Its either $20 to fix or $110 to replace with new rest......If the biscuits are prone to breaking, I'll make the jump. So speak up.......

If you were thinking about going to a drop away, it sounds to me like you had an omen sent to you through your WB. I'd go with the new rest.

The WB expert of the free worldlives in Western NY. You just missed him int he forums by a couple weeks, though.

Honestly....I've never heard of anyone having a problem with one "breaking"....and I'm not the biggest WB fan in the US;).

Why would you take a shot at someone that can't respond and defend himself?

Never heard of one breaking either...but I also would shoot off the shelf before I put one of those things on!

Go with the drop-away! QAD Hunter is like $50.00.

It wasn't a shot, Bruce. It was a joke. Get over yourself.

A joke at his expense. Somebody definitely needs to get over their self ;).

I have installed several biscuits for friends and nobody around here has had a problem. I shot them for a few years and came to believe that they are probably one of the most reliable and tough rests on the market. I changed when I wanted to shoot 3d out at ranges over 50 yards. I think the bihscuit is fine for 40 and under. Most of the guys I help around here don't shoot except right before bow season. Then the bow goes in the closet after gun season opens. So, I like the biscuit. ...but I shoot a trophy taker.:)
