Has anyone tried?

Has anyone tried the new Sims Limbsaver DeadZone bow. I have been seriously looking at this bow since I first heard about it.

I shot it at the ATA show this past January. That's my only experience with it, but....

Pretty good shooting bow. Just a little vibration at the shot, very quiet, and pretty smooth. It's also pretty fast. I'm not sure the technical terminology for what they call it, but they're center limb pivots are basically the same principal as the Gaurdian. It's different, but the prinicple is the same. It's a rather......ugly bow, IMO. The riser is big and square, I dunno, just not visually appealing to me, but it's a good shooter none the less.

I have shot it. I liked it alot. I did not think the hand shock was too bad at all, there is some there, but I have shot a whole lot worse for sure. The speed really suprised me, we had it over 300fps with a hunting shaft. As mobow mention, it is ugly. The limb pockets remind me of a guy with a really long, fat nose.

I just shot it the other night in fact. I had one MAJOR complaint about the bow. The grip was probably the WORST I have ever held. Very chunky and I could not hold it comfortably at all. So much so it gave me a hand cramp after only sooting about 2 dozen arrows out of it. Otherwise the bow shot very nice, Decent speed, fairly smooth draw with a good solid back wall. Little to no vibration on the shot and very quiet. Everything I would expect from a bow made by Sims. As far as mass weight, the bow weighs in about the same as most Hoyts, right about 4lbs. Not overly crazy about the chunky riser but thats just a visual thing. Next time im at the shop I will take off the grip to see if that helps any. A solid bow if the grip fits your hand. Sims deffinitly has some refining to do with this bow, but overall IMHO a solid first attempt.

well i'm not looking at a bow for looks. I'm sure the deer wont mind if I shoot at them with an ugly bow. I have read alot that people have been complaining about a hard draw. Everyone says my bow is hard to pull but i do it with ease. maybe it cause i'm not use to pulling a mathews or other high end.

I'll take some pictures and do a quick review on Friday while I'm at work... I was thinking of doing it earlier this week.
