Awesome bow! I look the looks of that MeanV suppressor, I have never held one just wondering if the rubber part of the suppressor is soft and squishy or more stout like hard rubber? The one I have on is harder and seems to add more noise instead of taking it away. ?

I myself would consider it soft, but anyone else feel free to add your 2 cents.

Just joking Dan, Just joking. You know, I dont guess anyone should complain about the price of them these days, my target bow cost 180.00 in 1967 and the next one 200.00 in 1969! But then they came with a sight on them, a crude one, but effective!

The first Brand new compound I bought I paid $125 for and that was retail. The last sight I put on my bow I paid more than that for it at dealer cost!!

I don't remember what Gas was a gallon back then, but I do think I was making between $3 and $4 an hour;)

Thanks everyone for the great comments, I took it to the pro shop today and shot it for about an hour and it felt great! I can't wait to go hunting, I'm going to be spending a LOT of time out in the woods this year from scouting beginning in Sept and hunting all the way through October and November. I'm stoked!

I love it man, it feels great although I will need a heavier stabelizer cuz the arrow wants to take off.

It's soft and squishy with a little bit of stickiness to it. It takes the twang out of the shot and definately keeps the shot quiet! MeanV doesn an awesome job from fit to finesh and performance, I highly recommend it because he does it custom also!

Thanks Dan, you be the man! That string suppressor you built for me works awesome and that's no exageration! How long will the rubber stopper last or should last?

Same here, perfectly balanced bow for me anyway and I don't think you can beat the thumb rest.

It's just the inexpensive one that you can order from Bowtechs website. I'm thinking of getting something like a stealth and throwing this one on my son's edge though.

Durability seems to be good, but it doesn't hurt to have an extra around.;)

No, you're not dumb. The string twists around. It's because of the peep sight I think?
