(POLL) Sell the Hoyt or wait??
Relax Bowtech and Matthews lovers:) I love my Hoyt......BUT.....Shhhhhhhh...I've been sniffing on a DXT....quiet don't tell.
I own a Hoyt Havoctec and its flawless...confident with it....low maintenance.....can't hurt it....and I love her more because she took a doe at 53 yards this year....YES...with a range finder...I'm not that good... Should I hold her for a few years? Or start my quest for a new bow...?? Here are my experiences...My old Matthews...chewed up strings...my buddies Bowtech...cracked limbs.....easy....don't chew on me too hard....what should I do? I have an open mind. |

RE: (POLL) Sell the Hoyt or wait??
This is how I look at it... That Havoctec as great of a bow as it is, isn't worth as much to anyone else as it is. It's resale value isn't going to be that great. Not squeezin' you here, just telling the truth. I say keep the Hoyt and do whatever you have to do until you can get another one. It never hurts to have that bow in the double bow case.
I sort of had the same dilemma with my Razortec... didn't want to get rid of it but couldn't really justify having that and spending the cash on a new one. So, I "sold" the Razortec to my dad for a ridiculously low price knowing that he won't ever get rid of it and at any time if I decide I want it back... I can get it cuz I know how much he paid for it ;) |
RE: (POLL) Sell the Hoyt or wait??
If Hoyt has never let you down I wouldnt think of changing brands only upgrading model maybe.

RE: (POLL) Sell the Hoyt or wait??
Stick with Hoyt, but upgrading is always fun.:D;) May not be the fastest or lightest bows on the market, but they dont make em any tougher. Im not for certain, but whenever I do buy a new bow (vectrix stays regardless), I have a feeling another Hoyt will enter the lineup.

RE: (POLL) Sell the Hoyt or wait??
To me the new Hoyt's are very reliable. I think you should hold onto thisi one and get another.
