ORIGINAL: Rob/PA Bowyer

Oh yell ya, I shot my bull elk, a buck and then a doe with the same arrow, just changed the blades.

If the arrows still good, I'll clean'er up and reuse it.

RE: Throw arrow out?

For years I told myself I would switch to carbon arrows as soon as I use up my alum. ones. I almost always get total pass thru shots so I never used them up. when I got a new bow I switched to carbons. One thing to watch for if you reuse is the braodhead. I used to shoot rocky 3 blades and often times the heads would get a real slight bend. Spin testing revealed this.

Use em till they bust or bend. I really like alums but switched to carbon a few years back and to ACC's the last 2 seasons. Doubt I'll change from the ACC's.

I only use the arrow once then is gets "retired". I personally feel it is a show of respect to not use it again. but that is just a personal choice.
