I know several high level tournament bass fisherman, and a fair number of them hunt, and several bow hunt.

U got it!! Yeh, lots of them hunt. In fact, I hunt with Woo and Chris Daves every saturday of the gun season here in Va, both are great guys and we have lots of fun together!

I know Woo fairly well. He and my father are very good friends. I sat next to Woo at the fall Richmond race last year. He is one heck of guy, I just don't have enough good words for Woo.

Yeh Woo is good peeps, Im two years younger than his son Chris, and I have known him for for over 15 yrs. We have hunted together for a few years now and I have gotten to know Woo fairly well too. They great people and very down to earth and Chris is a blast to hunt with, we get a lot laughs on saturdays during gun season!! Where are you from and how do you know them?? Who is your dad?? Ike is entertaining. And yeah he is good... but true, he is no KVD. KVD is the Chuck Norris of fishing.... if he had beard, his chin wouldn't be behind it... their would just be another hand with a 7# fish in it.

I always wondered what those guys were like in person. They all seem very down to earth people, and unlike some of their counterparts in the hunting video industry, most of them are truly very talented. Vabow, did you ever fish any pro-level tournaments? How was it? I always thought it would be really neat to try...I'm no expert bass fisherman, but I would think it would be fun.

KVD is a pretty cool guy. I have met him a few times. I know Marty Stone and a few more on the BFL tour that I have fished with over the years. I still think rick clunn is the best angler of all time right now.

He is a peach of guy! And you know what is really funny is that until I met him, I didn't know how tall he really isn't! Jimmy can't be an inch over 5'4" or a pound over 130 soaking wet. Camera will put 30#s on a man! He is a wonderful guy and a heck of an angler.

I used to think the same thing about a certain "great american fisherman" until i found out his shows were rigged. Guides caught his fish and put them into a hawg pen as it is call and he had divers hook his fish for him [:'(]

Hensler, I never have fished a pro level event, biggest thing I have fished was a BFL on the boater's side on the James river, oh yeh, I finished 6th that day. Anyway, I would not want to fish that level, I know Chris Daves very well, and he is always on the road from Jan to Nov. In fact, he is leaving tomorrow to go to Alabama for an FLW Series event, he was just there practicing and now he has to go back!! too much travel!! Not enough payback unless you finish in the top 10.
