Parade Magazine antihunting?

Is Parade Magazine antihunting or just like the rest of the medai....too stupid to dig further?

Parade magazine is the "soft" news magazine that comes in the Sunday paper to a lot of us. Today they had this article, ironically, in the "Intelligence Report" column.

It sounds inoccuous enough, but consider Wayne Pacelle's reputation;

I intend to write letters to both Parade and my local paper the Dallas Morning News to call them out on this. This should not go unchallenged.

Walk lightly with this, first off most hunters or at least alot, are against the canned places. However not all "kill fee" spots are canned hunts. There are places that are disgusting, 1 acre pens, tame animals etc. There are others that are 10's of thousands of acres. many hog hunts and exotics are in "pens" yet are big enough to make it fair chase.

As for inhumane way to treat the animal, well it's a short jump from penned hunt being inhumane to all hunts, after all they are still killed in the same way, bullet or arrow.

Hunting is not a "sport" (this is the beginning of the problem)it's a pastime or a "way of life". Therefore, since we have a stewardship over all living things, we should not be wasteful with any of our killings. Remember, hunting is part of natural law!

Their definition of a canned hunt could include any guided hunt, and that is probably their intention.

They are trying to misinform the public at large about their intentions to solicit donations, to build their warchest to go against their real targets....the hunting and trapping community as a whole.

Make no mistake, their current CEO is vehemently anti-hunting and will not stop at "canned hunts".
