I' ve been bow hunting for 11 years and I have harvested 22 white-tails , 3 mule deer.

comndr45 I beleive you are right when you say that, I have gun hunted for over 30 years and decided it was time to bowhunt, big difference, every thing I learned gun hunting had to be done 10 times better, there is a huge difference between having a deer within 100 yards of you and having one within 30 yards and the proper angle. the real kicker to me was that during the three years of bowhunting I know I had well over 100 deer that I could have killed with a rifle or shotgun, I probably had at least 30 within range, but never got the right angle for a shot.

I took me about 15 years to get my first one. Have 6 under my belt now. That was one heck of a monkey!:)

I' ve been seriously bowhunting for about 12 years. It took me a couple years to actually kill one, but after that I' ve taken anywhere from 1-4 each season. Not sure exactly how many. :)

I' ve been huntig for many years but stopped for about 11 years becouse of nowhere to hunt and got married. I killed two my first two years of bow hunting then just stoped. I got back in the saddle again this past season. Took two on opening day and just one for the rest of the season

It' s okay though, as I just got my bow in January, and didn' t get enough practice in to hunt the late season.

This year was my first with a bow and I harvested a buck on my very first hunt. Beginners luck!!!!

Been bowhunting Deer for over 39 years and have take somewhere around forty Deer. Up until a few years ago in WI you were allowed one Deer with a bow a year. Now you can take several in most areas of the state. I don' t want to count the ones I spooked off or missed but looking back I enjoyed those as much as the ones I did harvest.

I' ve been bowhunting for about 16 years and have taken a lot of deer(50+) with the bow. I was lucky enough to live in a state that had liberal bag limit and bow only in my area.

I been doing it about 35 years and I really don' t know how many I' ve taken. Some years I killed one, some years more and some years none so maybe I' ve averaged one a year, at least, so I' ll say 35 whitetails and a bunch of coyotes and 2 turkeys.

I' ve been bowhunting for 18 years and have killed 3 deer. Most of my hunting is in WV where we go for a week in the fall. I hunt from the ground the vast majority of the time.

I switched to traditional 3 years ago, and got my first buck with a bow and first deer with a trad bow hunting with my son, Reylamb, 2 years ago hunting on property he hunts on in GA. I' ll never forget that hunt!

This past season was my 20th. To the best of my recollection I would have to say about 18 deer. I got 4 this year, 1 buck, 3 does. I don' t think I ever stuck a deer with an arrow until about my 8th season.

this past season was my third, and I got skunked. I killed a doe the first year, and a 4 pt. last year. 2 outta 3 ain' t bad;)

17 seasons and I think 25 or so.
The first 5 as a kid with no treestand were a real " learning exprience" [:@]:(
But with age comes wisdom........and a sweet climbing stand!;)

for six years I hunted on the ground trying to stalk them and got 0 came awfuly close though. Then got a tree stand and the next six years arrowed 9 and had dozens hang out right under. Shouldn' t have been so stubborn in my younger years.

11 yrs and 6 bucks, 9 does, 1 bear, 1 beaver, 1 armadillo, 2 raccoons, 1 squirrel.

Hmmm, needed to do this anyway before I start forgetting them...

First one was a nice little five pointer a few years back...
Then there was the 170-lb. button buck the next year,
Then the large-bodied forkhorn I rattled in,
Then the near-P&Y after him,
The three-pointer at six yards,
The little button buck after him,
And, finally, my first big, fat doe,
Then the nice eight-pointer which fell 15 yards from the turkey I had just arrowed.

This past year, I let a whole bunch walk, but didn' t release an arrow at anything. Starting to mature as a bowhunter a bit, I guess, and just didn' t see what I wanted. So, all together, that' s -- lets, see -- um, about five seasons total with eight whitetals and three turkeys taken with a bow.

I' ve been bowhunting about 20 yrs and usually get one buck a year .I try to kill nice deer and I think 2 years I got skunked with a bow.
