Congratulations on the impending nuptials. Finding the "right" woman....that perfect match, while not always easy, is such an everlasting and wonderful gift when you do.

Yea, well I spent my 17th anniversary turkey hunting in mIchigan 2 yrs ago. She understands my passion and accepts it, most of the time....

Thanks guys, I really appreciate all the responses. I've been on the road again for work in Virginia for the last few days, and just got back on here.

She's truly my best friend and every day even after 2 years I realize that I'm lucky to have found her.Trust me when I say I got the better end of the deal.

She grew up in the Adirondacks with a family of extremely passionate deer hunters, so she at least can relate to thisendless pursuit. Heck, she even sat in the blind with me last fall and loved it, and wants to go turkey hunting with me as well this spring. I don't see her ever getting quite as hooked as we all are, but at least she can understand and relate and is willing to give it a shot.

And in regards to a wedding date outside of hunting season..........we've already had that discussion [8D]. We're tenatively planning for 7/18/09.
