That hen is a solid decoy made by the widowmaker company. It's made of solid plastic, painted.....and they run $99.

The "Hen-Enator" (AKA Rob) called in a BUNCH of hens for us, last year.:D
Solid...

Do you find its a PITA to carry around? I'm used to using the foam decoys I can squash down and tuck into my pack. Think you have more success with that decoy than you would with another?

Hell, my 20th birthday is before turkey season and something tells me its going to be a good year for gift giving. ;)

Nope. I just drape the carrying sack over this....and I walk to satnd hands-free. I have a lot of the collabsible dekes and I use them, some. But....I take this one(one in the photo)EVERY time.

I have 2 of the Widowmaker hens & 1 Pretty Boy. Just got a real fan ready for the boy and a Turkey skin will slide on the hen decoy. I'll probably be hunting out of my DB Dark Horse most of the time.

DB Matrix on its way. Pretty Boy has already been employed since last season. JMO, but Id get a pretty boy set on sale for cheaper than the one hen deke for $100. This way you get a solid hen and gobbler decoy, both very realistic looking. Two birds with one stone.

I will more than likely hunt without the netting up, and just dress up inall Black...Ninja Style[8D]

In that setting, I'm liking that new camo/blind more and more.
