the exchange rate on U.S. / Aussie currency is pretty close to 1:1 - right?

I just can't imagine a whisker biscuit costing $120.
It's not a WB:D What does the Fuse WB cost?

Germ,

I paid $65.00 plus tax for my Fuse WB.

I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think the Hostage Pro willeven hold a candle to the W/B. There are two MAJOR issues that weren't (couldn't) be fixed with the Hostage Pro.

1. The arrow, if bumped will stillfall through the bristles and bang against the housing and you will have to physically put it back into position. Sure you can adjust the bristlesfor a snugger fit but you don't wantthemtoo tight so it's not like they're going to clamp down on the arrow. When it gets bumped it will fall through.

2. On anything with more than a straight fletch your fletchingwill probablycontact the bristles. Even a slight (4deg) will hit depending on the size of the arrow. If you shoot slim arrows, they are going to hit, there's no way around this.

I like the all aluminum design and that it'sadjustable for sure but I'm not sold.

Like I said...I hope I'm wrong because I like the idea........

Those are 2 of my 3 concerns. My third is noise, will see, but for sure we're going to have to wait[:@]

Depending on how tight you adjust the bristles I don't think it will be any more or less than a WB. With the Whisker Biscuit the arrow should only rest on the very bottom black bristles (about the same as the bottom brush on the Hostage Pro) so the actual "arrow to rest" contact when drawing will be about the same. I would worry much more about the other two concerns.;)

Well just so you know
Noise will always be my Number 1 concern on any rest, if I cannot pull my bow back, i don't want it. The first thing I test on the HP. Then will go from there.

Being you gave me the noise low down I am waaaay less worried:D

If noise is your concern, my Limbdriver wrapped in felt is SILENT on draw with my new FMJs. Makes the old WB seem like an elephant trampede...ok so I exaggerate a little[8D], but I'm not exaggerating about the Limbdriver......

The main reason I went with the Limbdriver over the Hostage Pro is the fact that I didnt want to wait another month to set my bow up....I assume your feeling my would-be pain right now:D

It appears I can order the Hostage Pro from Gecko Archery in Australia, but not from the "Worlds Foremost Outfitter" here in the USA[&:]

That's because "they" know that you aren't putting it on a bowtech product... the 6th sense if you will.:D
