NJ and Pa share gobblers!

today was a great day, i took the dog out and when i was coming back to my house i see black/red. it was a huge long beard! it flow across the delware river from NJ to Pa. i let the dog in, and ran around back and saw 5 more long beards with it. i had camo on ( i was shed hunting ) so i sat down next to a tree and they walk by at 15 yrds! i had no face mask or gloves on either.the smallest beard was about 6in. and the longest was about 10ins. wow! it was great is it arpil 26 yet? ;)

So technically you could hunt these birds with double the tags by buying tags for both sides of the river? That would be pretty sweet.

what if you're in a boat on the river and shoot one as it flys over your head? do you need a tag for NJ or PA?

For the past three days in a row I have 7 long beards and 10 jakes come across my property. This is the most toms I have ever seen together. May 1st can't come quick enough.

hatchet jack, NY has a weekend youth hunt in April also. My oldest son is to old but now my daughter will give it a go this year. And yes this is the only thing NY has done for the youth. Good luck to you and your son!
